How does compounding work?
Compounding is simply making custom medicine for your unique needs. It is great for not only solving issues with discontinued meds or allergic reactions; it is also an ideal solution to improving the taste or making it easier to take.
Schott's Pharmacy can make the medication in a capsule or tablet form, but that's not always the right solution. If the delivery form of your prescription is a hard pill to swallow, you may benefit from a cream or a gel. Other delivery forms include:

Your provider will send the compounding script directly to Schott's Pharmacy in Marseilles via phone or fax.
The Schott's Pharmacy team creates the customized compounded medication. If there are any questions, we will contact your provider directly.
Once the prescription is filled, you can pick up your medication from one of our Local Health Pharmacy locations or we can ship it to your house!
